My first resin figure. After initial trepidation taking off the moulding blocks (?) I found they actually came off pretty easily by sawing part way through and snapping off. I like the detail on this figure.

Very slow progress so far. Next I will start on the leather jacket. I have a small dilemna. The boxart shows Wittman with black belt and gloves, but I'm inclined to paint them brown to stand out better.

Heh, you're right. Jacket is looking good so far (using NATO Black) it looks a much different colour from the trousers. I think a nice pair of brown leather gloves will set it off nicely.

Agreed!!! Color variation is the key to a good model (that goes for any subject)

Project is scrapped. I need to look again what glue I use for resin figures. I used superglue but his head kept falling off. The last straw was when I dropped him and broke the jacket lapel off. On to the next one.....!

You need to use 5 minute epoxy resin

Use metal wire to help with strength aswell
