@Choppa, I'm just working through the last of my 1/48 Me262 kits I somehow acquired over time, thought the fuselage and canopy looked a lot like the HYDRA Sub so I thought I'd give it a go.

The engine pods are drop tanks from a 1/48 Lightening kit with assorted wheel hubs inside and the four rear vanes are just two layers of plastic card glued together. I might do the same for the control flaps at the front or use some stabilisers from another kit, regardless they'll be mounted on bomb racks.
I was thinking about re-shaping the nose to look more like the HYDRA Sub but then it wouldn't be a 262 HYDRA Sub now would it. 🙂

I like the way you're going about this build,
wheel hubs for engine exhausts etc. is a nice idea, works well 🙂

Ben STONE 著者I'd like to do a mash-up of this too. A 262 or P38 would fit for the nose but I reckon a P47 Thunderbolt would look good.

I'd go with a Corsair or Zero as the tail can easily be made pointy and the front is round and would suit an appropriately large enough bomb or drop tank for the nose 😄

Greg BakerBen... that looks amazing! Very nicely done. I'm going to use it for some inspiration on my own Tintin Shark Submarine build. The Me262 just really works well underwater, doesn't it?
