Björn Svedberg 著者I've started assembling all of the PE parts from the Eduard BigEd kit for the catalina and it is pretty big, so this will take a while 🙂.

JensI have the original version of Monogram in the camp and it irritates me for a long time, your progression always let me look for the kit
New control units in Resin, Eduard and a lot of patience will be necessary

The Catalina is finished. Although, as always, I made alot of mistakes along the way, I'm pleased with the result. It was a nicely detailed kit from Revell/Monogram and it fit together pretty well. The only thing that let it down was the quality of the clear parts. The BigEd photo etch kit was a really nice addition with lots of extra detail. Especially for the under carriage and for the floats. 🙂

The Corsair is a pretty big plane. Compared to a spit or a 109 it would look bigger 🙂.

Thomas BischoffI agree with all above: it's a beautiful cat ... but ... I just saw that the fuel vent pipes (on the wing, see picture 27) are pointing the wrong way. Hope no one elses notices!

Björn Svedberg 著者@Thomas I did a white wash on the dark parts and a black wash on the light parts. Then I usually do some dry-brushing to accent some parts.
