thanks for the extra pictures.
about the walkways, I did replace them with masks when i did mine. i scanned the sheet, "cut" the walkways, and printed them in tamiya A4 masking sheet, cut them, place them and paint. you can also put the decal sheet over the masking sheet, and use a needle in the corners, join the dot and mask ready to be used 🙂
actually i was planning in replacing starts etc with masks... but Cartograph decals included were so good, that it is a pity not to use them 🙂
