Hello Mike, a very nicely built model of a very interested aircraft with a really exciting story and a lot of areas of application 👍 👍 👍 I have already tried the 48er lifting, and I am even more looking forward to the 32er with your pictures from ICM 🙂

Having just finished reading Ace of Aces: The Incredible Story of Pat Pattle, I salute you. Very nice build.

Thanks Jens. A very nice kit. Went together very well. Great fit and very little prep required. This was my first ICM kit and i was impressed. Had a few issues with the decals - the transparent sections were very visible so had to overpaint. Should of glossed the surface first so probably my own fault.

Thanks John E. Not heard the story of Pat Pattle. Have just ordered the book.

Hello Mike, I built the Bücker from ICM, as little extras Eduard PE, also without any problems 🙂 because of the decals, yes, you should first apply clear coat gloss before you put the decals in position, then clear gloss again and only then a semi matte or matte

The reason I mentioned Pattle is that many believe he is the highest scoring Gladiator ace. Makes me want to build a Gladiator too!

Thanks for the advice Jens. Should have done that in the first place! John E - would definitely recommend this kit and ICM generally. One of the cleanest kits ever. Up there with WnW for quality, just without the crazy price tag (worth it though - come on ICM, a big hole in the 1/32 WW1 market, any chances ??).
Thanks very much Neuling and Sebastian Meyner.

I have the Sea Gladiator in the stash. What is it like to build ie fit.

Thanks Spanjaard. David the fit was superb. No problems at all. Just fit the radiator before fixing on the engine cowling. The angle is pretty tight. Thanks very much Rui S and Tim Heimer.

Thanks David and enjoy the build. Thanks Guy Rump. I used guitar strings again for the rigging. This kit was pretty easy as it goes. It has a split wing so could drill through from the top after fixing the wings in place. A real luxury!
