The kit comes with the markings for two tanks involved in the Battle of Berlin, perhaps the most ferocious battle of a long and ferocious war. The base color is Vallejo Model Air 71.017 Russian Green. I have recently been practicing with Ammo by Mig Oilbrushers with improving results. Application is both easy and forgiving, i.e., any errors can be removed with odorless mineral spirits and you can try again. I enjoy the Tamiya 1/48 scale kits very much and look forward to more releases in this range.
