Managed to break off the pitot tube and one machine gun, so some running repairs still to be done.

The kit canopy comes in two parts, but is soo thick I couldn't figure out how to mount it in the open position. Unfortunately, I'm also thick so could not fit it neatly closed either...

I wasn't sure which 'blue' the wing tip should be, so I used the same as on the underside.

The mottling turned out quite well, using more or less water, so some fade into the background, and some 'depth' has been achieved. I'm not sure if I can achieve the same effect twice! Serendipity 🙂

Album info

First attempts with hand-painted acrylics. The second-hand kit was a little damaged, so I couldn't use the undercarriage. Any suggestions as to how to display it in flight would be most welcome.
