Cockpit area mid build 

Undersides ready for first primer coat, maskol has been used to protect wheel bays. See the very fine photo etch plates , which are quit hard to glue. 

After primer, first try at pre shadowing ...never did this before, I'll see how it ends up after camouflage colors are applied 

first primer coat, some corrective sanding here and there before second coat is applied.. 

camo finished. I'm far from a decent result, but need way more practice, next build will be better 🙂 

Medium grey and light grey are done 

Starboard side with main decals on 

one coat of "varnish" and decals will start to appear 🙂 

 

Port fuselage side with main decals on, now to figure out which stencils need to appear as there are more than 100 provided and not sure all were visible on this very short life span scheme 

Seat details 

Finished, in all its splendor, Edaurd has a great model here ! Better detailled than most 1/48 scale models I did in the 80's 🙂
