Hehe mould lines... Welcome to revell kits! I've built that one recently. It's much nicer than some of their other cars.

Haha typo! 🤦♂️
So far so good. No fit issues or anything like that. Think I've just been spoilt with the Tamiya and Aoshima kits. Been watching a heap of weathering and rusting videos on YouTube, so I'm keen to get started on that part of it.

Really nice pattination, and the polished steering wheel looks perfect 👍

Thanks guys! A bit more weathering to come and then onto the hairspray and salt methods. 😬

Get on with it! I just discovered this build today and I'm anxious for the rest

Following the rest of this build... great work so far! Love the weathering!

Haha it's very tempting to keep the body as is. I didn't mean for the sponge weathering to turn out as good as it did lol! The purpose of this model was to learn the salt and hairspray techniques so, to most onlookers' disgust, I am going to go ahead and paint it bright green. But... now I know how to get this current result I'm already eyeing off another model to do this to.

The rust effects are great!
A very good weathering technique, very close to reality!

I agree with everyone above. Eine der schönsten Rostlauben, die ich je gesehen habe! 👍

Certainly made it look like a "chook shed" find Pete. Lot's of new techniques used and lessons learned. Fantastic result and absolutely love the coat hanger antenna! Great ideas and great build. Well done mate, excellent build!

Son: "Body needs work and there's a fair bit of rust. It's running well now that I've dropped a new engine in. Having fun adding a few of my own touches here and there, like a new set of speakers on the back shelf, but still a lot of work to do."
