Thanks Alejandro. For the cobblestones I used Das clay and squared up the metal head of an old paint brush after removing the bristles. Then it was just a matter of pushing the square metal head into the clay to form a pattern. I saw it done on youtube. I have since seen videos where the cobbles are cut into the clay with a toothpick and filled after with a plaster mix - it was likely Plasmo or Night Shift. I think I might try that approach next time, as the brush head method does mean all the cobbles are the same, unless you make up a couple of brush heads.
