Mike Daniels 著者Lovely kit! Pleased with the final result. Its a massive model so think about display before building this one.
Very nice detailing from ICM (as ever, i am becoming a big fan). Those torpedoes (not used) are great. All the detail is their where it matters. Think i should have masked up a bit more on the glass work, but it takes ages. Its not bad! A bit over complex ? Tricky to get the fuselage together, some gaps around Revell components.
Main criticism - Decals. What's the point in giving black decals for a black surface ? Didn't use any of them, so the underside is rather bald. Waste - a lot of unused components.
Overall - Love the scheme. Love the detail. More suited to airbrushing at this scale. Worth getting ready cut masks. 9/10.

Peter MaherMike, congratulations on the camouflage, it is superb. Very clean cut model, excellent. I've completed ICM's 1:48 model and it certainly is big. Am going to hang it from the ceiling soon.

Mike Daniels 著者Thank you Roland, Eelco, Peter and Daniel. Tried copying the camo precisely from the scheme but it drives you quite insane! Did it free hand in the end with a large degree of artistic license. It is big but i rather like these ICM bomber kits. Got my eye on the Dornier next. Do 217J-1/2 (ICM 48272, 1:48) Looking forward to the Mistel S-1 which is coming out soon. Mistel S1 (ICM 48101, 1:48)
