for the crap kit it is, its going on quite okay now with some colour on it at least, hopefully the cannopy wont ruin it all due to the bad kit

I would have sanded those rivets off and reriveted both planes. But I can understand not doing that. Getting raised rivets to look good in silver is a real challenge.
