Gotham City Police Pursuer Final Build

The Vision: Gotham City Police Pursuer was the inception of GCPD to match the speed and horsepower of the city’s criminals. It carries over an unmatched combination of performance and efficiency. Power comes from the 6.2L LT1 V-8 rated at an SAE-certified 455 horsepower and 624 Nm of torque – and 460 horsepower and 630 Nm with the available performance exhaust system. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and runs the quarter mile in 12 seconds at 119 mph (191 km/h), while the Corvette’s chassis and suspension features contribute to 1.03g in cornering grip and stop from 60 mph in 32 meters. This stunning 2015 Corvette Stingray has all the style and sleekness of high-speed the GCPD needs to catch anyone on the run from them.

Harley Quinn is taking an old trick and making it her own. Harley Quinn stole a GCPD 2015 Corvette Stingray but not leaving her left her mark and tagged up this GCPD Police Pursuer with Harley Quinn signature graffiti. The GCPD are in hot pursuit right behind her. My previous partner Gary from Gary’s paint booth did an outstanding jib painting this up and decaling it. T.O.B covered the interior with Police equipment and guns.

LED Lights: All lights, except for the internal light bar, installed are stunning LED lights from Evans Designs. I got some police LED lights all around the car. Some are custom made LED lights specifically for this build. The front headlights have police red and blue flashing in sequence and a couple of strobing purser lights. The taillights comprise of two solid LED lights, two slow flashing and two fast flashing red lights on each side. There is ice blue interior LED lighting up and highlighting the cabin and the all the decaled and painted police equipment inside. Also on the inside is a working with a special working 1/24 scale Interior Visor from West Coast Collectables. It has 8 RGB LEDs, allowing for full takedown modes, as well as standard flashing patterns. It supports standard 9v battery 13 patterns, plus an additional 'Demo Pattern' that continuously cycles through all the flashing patterns.

Sound: Mounted inside the back deck is a WayinTop 6-volt, 8MB, bottom controlled programmable MP3 sound module. Programmed with sirens, tires screeching, engine noise, police radio chatter and my own voice for GCPD finest, and a spectacular ending with the Bad Bos theme song.

Kit Review: Revell Foose 2015 Corvette Stingray 1:25 Scale Revell Model Kit #85-4397 release March 19, 2016. UPC is031445043970 and a skill level 3 (10 years and older). Sports car lovers will adore this classic Corvette, enhanced with a modern twist from Foose. A great kit for the novice builder to transition into working with glue kits. Some glue is required even though it is a snap kit, while the body is painted up nice, some additional areas do necessitate painting for better quality build. This stunning kit has 57 parts molded in Gray and Black with Chrome. It comes equipped with a detailed LT1 V-8 engine, the glass is clear and red with the windows are already preprinted strips on the glass. The Chip Foose inspired preprinted body comes molded in a Silver Metallic with black vinyl tires, metal axles, transparent red taillights and has Waterslide decals. When completed its length is 6-15/16 inches with a width: 3-5/16 inches and a height of 1-7/8 inches.
