Yeah that bird has quite an interesting look for sure! 1/144 sure is a more reasonable scale to build it, but I already have 2 Academy 1/72 kits looking lonely on a shelf (they're not considering the number of boxes next to them) so yeah... tempting! Speaking of 1/144, I'd like to try a kit from this scale, do you know if minicraft is any good?

I have three Minicraft kits in my stash. Haven't built one yet but the C-121 and the PBY are rather basic. The C-97 looks like a decent kit.
