Modified the Airfix Comet 4B into 4C by adding plasticard wingtip extensions & wingtip fuel tanks using 1/72 Hasegawa F-4E (JS-085) travel pods. My first attempt at using Microscale metal foil glue and thin candy wrapper (Nestle Crunch?) metal foil. Finish is okay, but suffers from many wrinkles on compound curves. Built side-by-side with Mexicana Comet 4C. I used ATP CV-990 windshield trimmed for the Comet. I used ATP F-28/VC10 windows turned sideways for cabin windows.
