自己紹介

Hello dear people,

My name is Alex Hager, I'm 51 years old and an HTL teacher from Vienna in the field of game design. After a break of over 30 years, I've recently gotten back into model/diorama building.
I actually come from the video game industry, where I worked as a digital artist for many years (2D & 3D, Rockstar Games etc.). This is probably not an advantage in model building, but certainly not a disadvantage in terms of inventiveness 😉
I mainly build on a scale of 1:72 and 1:35, but I also sculpt my own figures/creatures out of polymer clay and often mix the whole thing with plastic model kits etc. You won't see as many slick, clean, high-gloss models as I tend to focus on I'm on the dirty, mangy side 😄
For around 7 months I have also been running my own relevant YT channel (primarily time-lapse videos) that deals with the creation of my dioramas -> www.youtube.com/@SLUDGEWORLDS
