I spent a massive amount of time and effort working on upgrading this kit. In its original form, the kit lacked any surface details. Also, the fitting of parts was just plain horrible. The top priority was riveting the whole surface area and smoothing out all the joints and gaps with a voluminous amount of putty, CA glue and sheet styrene. I used AK Xtreme metallics for the main paint job.
