Starting with a low quality model (Hobbycraft - Georges Guynemer's Nieuport 17, circa 1992) I am converting the design to the William Harisson - 11 victory WWI ace. My objective is to develop new modelling techniques such as (i) printing my own decals, (ii) airbrushing ribs into a camouflage fuselage, (iii) creating a realistic engine assembly, (iv) creating realistic weathering highlights and (v) improving my rigging and buckle techniques.
