Got a Toyota company car so I deceided to build a Toyota. From an engineering point-of-view, a starter truck is a nice interesting subject.
Invented around WW1 and not only used by Japan but also Russia and Britain.
I found this clip of a Hucks starter used with a Bristol Bulldog;
