While taking pictures of the models I built as a teenager, I realized that I already have built this particular Spitfire ?

Kits from my first life as a modeller | Album by AK84

But now the Vokes filter is already installed and sanded... I was looking for an alternative finish and found an interesting US version with overpainted RAF roundels. Mid stone/dark earth on top, but Sky instead of azure on the underside.

Finally I found the time to proceed. Sprayed the underside in Mr. Hobby Sky, but it turned out way too yellow in my opinion (see pic). I was thinking to apply a grey filter over it. Does anyone have some experience with that? I would prefer not to overspray it because this would probably eliminate my pre-shading.
