This kit is older than 1999. My Dad bought the kit for me (as I was on the squadron) in 1996. The basic kit was ok but a few details were wrong or missing. I made the Sea Search radar cover as the one fitted was a mk2 radar, I also added Orange Crop arials and better weapon stations. The decals for the #814 Naval Air Squadron are from a "tiger meet" in the late 80's.

Gareth, Maybe this kit has been reissued in 1999. Sometimes small differences on the box can indicate this.

Ahh maybe. The box has long gone, but I remember it being fun to build including the scratch built parts.
