Rebox? From which one?

No, apparently a kit designed and manufactured by MPM. But the quality is not that good, if you already know the MPM-Meteor: the Scimitar is much worse!

I have the CMR Scimitar in my stash - I think that is the one to go for, the price is not bad considering you also get PE, masks, and vacuform canopy (x2). Plus the decal sheets are quite extensive. Fantastic detail, too, but considering it's a resin kit that is to be expected.

Fully agree. Actually, the Xtrakit is the opposite - little details, and much work to do if you want a decent detail level. Not to mention all the ordnance and different possibilities like open airbrakes, wings folded and so on.

Ah, I forgot about the folding wing set for the CMR kit. It's available separately as an option, but I like how they give you a new set of wings. This way, you don't have to cut the kit wings in order to fold them.
I buy my CMR kits from a company in British Columbia, and they will discount the folding wing option by 25% if you order it at the same time as the kit. 🙂

A lot has been said about the Xtrakit Scimitar, so I did a little research of my own in terms of markings
