MODELING MANIA in partnership with the City of Herve and the Herve Tourist Office are pleased to invite you to their third modeling exhibition on October 05 and 06 2024 at Hall de Criée, rue de Charneux 94, 4650 HERVE. (Province de Liége) halldecriee.be/

2200 m² of exposure, 1000 m² outside, 190 m² of cafeteria, 2000 parking spaces, showers for those who spend the WE on the site ...

The purpose of this exhibition is to share our passion between modellers but also to show the general public what motivates us every day in the realization of our works.

It would be wrong to believe that today's youth swear by the Internet and the latest video games. Many people, every day, wonder about this passion that is ours.

The model making is not reduced to the realization of a model out of a box and mounted at the speed of lightning.

Most of the works we try to show during our exhibition require hours and hours of work, both for editing and for researching and restoring historical truth.

In fact, a model of quality must meet essentially two conditions : the fidelity in the proportions and in the aspect.

It would, indeed, be somewhat inapropriate to represent soldiers of the Battle of Waterloo in shirt arms while in 1815, it rained on the "battlefield" for three days.

Every year, we try to make you discover new things, new aspects of model making, as much at the level of the automobile as the railway, the naval or the aeronautics.

Criticism too, or systematically, negative about a job or presentation, will always be banned at home. Let's remember a fairly famous quote, but often unknown :
