This wasn't an easy build. The kit is okay, not great. I had some fit issues with the cockpit glass and the wings. It is being built for display at the airport. The main issues I had were there are no decals that I could find for the modern USAF C-130Js which would have the stenciling in light grey. I had a generous associate create masks for the USAF roundels. I ended up masking the lines for walkways, etc. I used some of the kit decals even though they are black instead of grey to create some interest on the fuselage.

This has a temporary base. It will have a display base when it moves to its permanent home.

Looks great! I'm glad you were able to get the decal situation figured out so this one could get put to bed. Nice work!

Yes. The decals were a major hurdle but they are sorted. Many Many Many thanks to James for the USAF roundel masks!!!
