John Thomas AuthorGreg, As far as I can tell there were no gap between the cooling flaps. Many model kits in all scale get's this wrong. Thanks.

John Thomas AuthorGreg, Thanks I like doing the step by step photos, it adds to the fun of modeling. It will help me in the future if I would do more Airfix P-40's on what I did. In my past life my job was much like my modeling starting broad and then focus on the details. Well time to paint, more fun.
