Yeah, have to think about conversion. Guess I've never seen any B-50 in 1:72🙂

One of these is already finished, second still waits to be completed. Back then I used to think these Matchbox kits were great to built - oh boy, I couldn't be more wrong!. Loads of sanding, scratching, handlings and maledictions!. Rough thing! Anyway, trying do my best to make it look acceptable.

Oh I had fun with my build too. You can check it out here too if you like. I found that I had to replace the machine guns as I just couldn't keep them from breaking during the painting process. If anyone is interested, take a look at: PB4Y-2 Privateer | Album by BigBill (1:72)
Looking forward to seeing your finished builds.

William Joel thanks for comment. Your Privateer looks really great, especially like that panel linings at the bottom of plane and, well - replaced machine guns seem to look even more proper than original plastic sticks. Overall very nice looking build.

Pretty standard paint job I guess. I started with two coats of Vallejo flat black primer, then add some light touch of panel (and not dividing lines) shading, using only Vallejo flat grey primer. After base colours sat on its place I lightened up some and darkened down (🙂) the other panels with bit random mixes of sea blue, dark sea blue and internediate blue ( all water acrylic Vallejo stuff). Then I made some dry and wet weathering mainly using Tamiya stuff and voila. Currently I' m changing some details as they didnt turned out 100% satysfaing.
