I think it will take more time than I thaught . There will be a lot of putty needed, the Cockpit and wheelbay I also will upgrade with scratch parts.

Finished now the upper side, Camouflage, markings, etc. The little parts are decals. I mixed some from Revell with those from HK to compare. The Revell ones are more thick, the Color is nearly the same. As I brushed the roundels with airbrush, there will be no danger about silvering. It also looks more „integrated" into the colors of upper side.

To mount the engine gondolas is so laborious… Nothing is really fitting. It's not really bad, but it's also not really good. The imression is, that it is not really precisely. You must be aware about this, if you make this model.
And my strongly recommendation is not to use the canopy parts of the Kit. use one from a third party seller which is one peace.

I would not say it's a Junk Model, rather that it must be build in a different way. I have 2 of this Eduard Kits yet plus a 1:32 Kit from Hasegawa, And it will not change the target to build the whole squadron 😃

Interim conclusion after mounting of the cockpit: The fit of the fuselage parts, mounting of cockpit and rear wheel is pretty good. Compared with the Revell Me 262 1:48 Kit, much better. Airfix 1 - Revell 0

The model is looking a little bit weird. A Corsair with New Zealand markings is looking a little bit surprising. An angry surprise at the end was the fitting of the canopy. For me, it seemed that it was not a regular part of the kit.

Test with chipping fluid failed. Masking Tapes are ripping off additional Color Layers very easy over chipping fluid layers.
Decals from Eagle Strike are pretty good. 14 Years old but still working well.
Washing failed. Too less Color in the wash
