Nice build and I like your description. I just finished this kit and felt the same as you: I was glad to get it finished. I had a couple issues with silvering on the decals as I am still trying to get my paint and technique worked out for a smooth surface. I wish I had the metal gun barrels like yours as I kept bending or breaking the plastic ones off during the build. It took me nearly 4 years to complete as I had to set it aside while we were building our house.
