The air intake on this kit needs to be rebuilt. It's not too difficult. Worse is the flash on the nose cone. Mine was a blob of plastic that needed to be filed down to shape.

Thank you for your tip Skyhiker 👍 but when i start to correct the mistakes of this kit where does it end ? How did you rebuilt the air intake at your kit ?

It's been awhile since I finished this kit. I think what I did was separate part of the top half and put a styrene sheet in there. Here is a photo: P-51 D Mustang | Album by Skyhiker (1:72)

Started with the decals at the Tamiya Mustang.
Can somebody recommend me a decalsofter for
the Tamiya armorplatedecals?

The Velejo decal soft worked ok on my Tamiya Harrier.....The roundals definitely needed good dose.
Good softener.

I have tested 3 different softener but I havent got the vallejo in my stash 😭
By the next possibillity i will buy one.

Yes it's definitely worth a dry, l was really impressed but it, the Rudder on my current HB lAR-80 ...the decal was bit oversized n a bump in the surface! the Vallejo just shrank to shape n looked painted.
