I'm a bit disappointed that the scheme I have to paint this when I get good enough. My grandfather was co-driver of crusaders which were then swapped for Shermans. His was part of 10th royal hussars and if you look at their colours in the instructions they used a plain SCC 2 brown at El Alamein.
Were the magic tracks difficult to do? My kit has 2 small bags of individual links and that's it. No pins. Is that right? Can't see how they're made in my instructions. I only had a brief look but don't think it tells you.

The magic tracks aren't difficult, just push them together, but in my kit they were missing links. It is hidden behind the sand fenders. Those are the harder part of the kit, lots of PE to carefully bend and join up.

@evilbob, you have to glue them too though, no? It doesn't even mention it in the instructions. Please forgive my ignorance I'm very new to modelling. I won't be actually making the advanced kits for quite some time. Until I've learned a lot more.

Yes, you should apply a very small amount of cement, ideally some of the thin type e.g. Tamiya extra thin. The curved parts around the sprockets and idler can be cemented in-place if desired.
