While i quite like how it turned out this model was very frustrating in some ways because the Border Model manual had quite some flaws or inaccuracies. The base on the other hand was very rewarding, i used VMS smart mud 2.0 the first time and also a A.MIG product imitating asphalt. Those where very cool to work with (i alwas used simple plaster in the past).
The sign is made from sprue and cardboard strengthened with CA glue. The flags are two layers of tissue paper soaked in pva glue/water.
of course there is quite a bit of inspiration from coldemonspl with the camouflage netting, still no where near his quality.
