August 1, 2024I decided to do the wing assembly first.4
August 1, 2024This is as good with the photo etch as I’m going to get. The left side pedal later snapped in half for no reason at all when I glued in the seat.5

August 1, 2024A picture of Hermann Graf in his plane. You can see the faded paint around the commodore markings. I tried to imitate that.9
August 1, 2024Used this picture of an actual aircraft skin panel as an example as to what RLM76 ought to look like.10
August 1, 2024My first attempt at post shading. Didn’t go too bad, a bit sloppy here and there I think.11
August 1, 2024I mixed the RLM76 myself from Tamiya acrylics and also put in some X-22 Clear. I think it looks quite vibrant.12

August 6, 2024This looks like a crack in the fuselage to me. I decided to leave it. There’s a few more visible seams that I spotted. I guess I’ll have to try better at assembly the next time.21
August 6, 2024I made an oopsie when I was airbrushing in the yellow. I guess my gloved index finger caught some airbrush cleaner.22
