German Submarine Typ VIIc

My first 1:350 scale model is finished. 

The beginning has been made. 

Small parts to be painted. 

The essential painting of the submarine is finished. 

 

 

 

I depicted the submarine with the typical "netsaw". 

With the rust weathering, real rust pigments were sanded off a rusty piece of iron and applied to the boat with diluted clear varnish. 

 

 

 

Bending and gluing the "wintergarden" was very challenging for me. Respect for the people who put PE-parts on entire battleships! 

 

 

The rivets are very prominent on this model. However, these do not interfere with the finished overall model.
