I decided to try on paint mixing by my own. A bit of guess work and some references, I try to mix Tamiya XF-5 Flat Green and XF-25 Light Sea Grey in 2:1 ratio to represent the Jongblad (Young Leaf) color since buying new specific paint would cost me time and money...

Reflecting on previous mixing attempt, I try to use XF-62 OD and XF-5 Flat Green in 2:1 ratio to represent The Oudblad (Old Leaf) color. And this is actually the first time I try to paint in free hand!

all parts are assembled, and time to peel of the masking starting for the underside window. It covers the window fairly okay, and the masking isn't too hard to peel of as well.

I think the colors should be two tones of green rather than green and brown.

Yes, the paint should be different than the usual RAF dark green and brown scheme

I found few faults of this kit for fitting and few minor mold misalignments, probably due to how old the mold is. But nonetheless, it is still fun and few fixes wouldn't hurt.

It looks like a quite nice kit. Your masks look perfect. The buffalo I built was the matchbox 1/72 kit which isn't the best, but I built it when I was kid, so I wanted to see if I could do better this time

Thank you Doubtingmango, I was experimenting quite a lot with paint mixing for this until in the end I just trust in my feeling 🤣

Yes I used Alclad Airframe Aluminum for undercoat, though I had to tone it down with a lot of flat clear. I don't feel to just use silver paint for it since gear and some underside sub-assemblies has similar color for it 😊
