The models inner side were already painted when I got the kit second hand. I just started to add some frames.

The cabin floor assy is in! All interior was painted with interior green.

After the installation of all equiupment, not much of the added frames can be seen. Conclusion: waste of time. Some of the steel pins can be seen on the lower side to make the aircraft a nose-sitter 🙂

I think nobody ever said that the Revell B-29 is big so I do it: It's very big! And due to the weight in the nose, it's also very heavy.

Installing the Metallic Details parts, new firewall in place. The 3D-Resin is nicely done. However, the fit on the kit is problematic as the kits engine nacelles are not equally shaped.

The only modifications I did to get a reconnaissance version were the camera openings.

Closing the cabin, the fit is nearly good. I put all the neccessary weight in the nose, the manual suggest to put weight in each engine nacelle...

schaut schon super aus... nur schade, dass man davon nachher nix mehr sieht 🙁 .... das ist auch der Grund, dass meine B-29 nun schon seit Jahren in ähnlichem Zustand in meiner Vitrine liegt... und habe auch vor die KeeBird zu bauen.. Gruss Thomas

Got a B-29 kit second hand and try to do the best out of it. I like to do the colorful Kee Bird, as the whole aircrafts story catched me even if its not my usual interest.
