A straighter nose and a bit of green stuff to fill the wonky plastic by the clear parts. Definitely happier with it although I have scratched the plastic clear part. 

Not so sure about my attempts at rescribing this line across the nose. Its quite uneven - maybe filling and leaving that line absent would be better at this stage. 

Thought I try my hand at preshading. Quickly discovered that I need to practice preshading more. 

 

First attempts at post shading and mixing my own paint colours. Quite pleased with it today but may well end up toning it down after looking at it some more.
 

Got a coat of paint on the top with some pre and post shading. The colour isn't correct but its not too far off. 

Hit and miss with the masking tape efforts. Will need a bit of a tidy up to get these lines all matching. 

Changed the underside colour and have had a crack at invasion stripes.  

The invasion stripes are a bit wonky and different thicknesses. I put some blue pre shading under the white to look like the colour underneath was showing through. It just looks a bit odd really I don't think this was a great choice. 

Battle of the Beaufighter continues. I have a gloss coat (with orange peel) and some decals (with a broken "P" and some misregistration on the roundels for good measure.) 

Decals all done except one of the tiny ones that just vanished. Gloss coat added and an attempt at using oils to weather. The paint/gloss coat has lots of fluff and dust and orange peel surface so a rethink on work flow required here. 

From some angles it doesn't look too bad. 

Is this an error in the instructions? Wheels up doesn't need part A15 and A16? 

Weathered the top assuming North Sea weather and seagull crap aplenty
