Fuselage fit pretty good 

 

Masking for base coat (Royal Blue non flat) - my least used paint....

Bye bye cockpit 

Streaking done. Base colour is a darker green air brushed. Streaks are a lighter green semi dry brush brushed

assembly / touch up started. Lower wing attatched. Middle wing dry fit

EZLine for the rigging on the landing gear pad 

while fitting the spar to the mounting locations on the top wing I pressed too hard on the tweezers and snapped the spar!!

Rigging on the wing to fuselage- guitar wire. Easy to work with as long as the length is correct... Measure 2x Cut 1x... (or save the wrong length piece and cut another one...) 

The broken spar re fit and ready to mend 

The broken spar mended. - Gorrila thick CA glue. Touch ups later... 

Front rigging. Guitar wire 

Starting to look it might fly. 

Interesting to see how the rigging for the rear stabilizer and rudder turn out... Might be ezline, might be guitar wire, or a bit of both. The holes in the stabilizer are meant for the rigging.. 

Ready for engine and cowling 

Small, even in 1/72 scale!
