just wanted to show off that I have got a new paint booth, so this was a pilot project. 

primed with zeropaints leveling primer 

 

the whole mesh situation was a bit sketchy. I did not like how the radiator was molded so I decided to apply 2 meshes so that the mold imperfections are less seen. Here is the internal mesh, and the second one i applied to the body. 

i weathered the wheels with tamiya "oil slick" after. I deliberately painted the wheels all-white and have not left the polished part. This is how the later models were having and I like it more like that. 

i added more wires to live up the cockpit 

i need a new way of attaching the wires. i dont like the looks of superglue. 

 

 

it was way too early to apply alclad to the headlights, but I was too afraid to mask everything after the decals are done.

here is the external net that I have applied to the inlet. according to the instructions you need to apply the net to the inner part. I haven´t found any photos of the early model GT500 supras, so I had to improvise. The mesh that was included into the kit was also way more rough than it should be. 

many builders i saw on youtube forget to do the silver backing of the headlights. the backlights are super dim because of this.
