Album info

When Dave Williams presented his Sd.Kfz.222 - No.2 Armored Car Company, Royal Air Force some time ago, I thought that I could build such a vehicle myself. Over time this thought was mixed with impressions of Caunter Scheme vehicles. Thus, the Sd.Kfz.222 as a captured vehicle existed, but not with this camouflage scheme.

The British used the Caunter camouflage scheme in North Africa in the early years of the war, but then abandoned it. There are lively discussions among modelers as to what the correct colors are for this scheme. For my model I used Portland Stone from Vallejo as well as Silver Grey and Slate from AK.

I used the Tamiya kit as a base.
