Parts removed from their sprues and laid out for primer

4 coats of Tamiy XF-13 Japanese Army Green. Tomorrow will be some sanding and another coat or so 

Only 3 parts needed some light sanding with a 12000 sanding sponge. Exterior clear coating is tomorrow in prep for decals 

Interior and chassis/motor decals installed and setting 

Brakes on

This was fiddly as hell and I spent more time than I care to admit putting this together

How much camber is too much? 

Decals on the body. Entering the home stretch. Gotta paint the head light assemblies and clear coat the body tomorrow. After that it's panel lining and weathering followed by final assembly! 

One of the decals fell off the backing in my water cup and I couldn't rescue it before it balled itself up. Kinda disappointed, but I think it's not too noticeable 

 

 

Buncha coats of Createx Colors UVLS gloss clear and everyone's been put to bed for a few days to cure 

Mistakes were made trying to polish the clear coat. Went too hard with the buffing wheel and not only ate through the clear but in some places went all the way to plastic.  

 

 

Time to step away from this puppy and figure out if I wanna fix this or make it into a track car that's been through the wringer 

All done. Didn't bother fixing it. It's not good, but it's good enough. Added a figure driving for a diorama
