Hello,
This is my interpretation of the Mig-23M Flogger, from Trumpeter, 1/48.
I have used the Quickboost seat and the exhaust and landing gear bay resin add-on from Eduard.
The cockpit is very basic, especially the instrument panel, which is poorly represented through decals. It would have clearly deserve a resin cockpit (like the one from Neomega) or at least a photoetched panel, from Eduard.
The resin landing gear bay are well detailed, but they make the integration with landing gear and the doors, more difficult. Beware that the original landing gears are quiet fragile: I'broke one of the leg while the kit was almost finish.
Most of the fittings are correct, except the variable swept wing which I' found difficult to fit on the upper fuselage. The engine intake also needs a lot of putty and sanding, to align with fuselage.
Do not hesitate to putt a lot of weight in the nose.
Surely not a best in class kit, but the subject is not so common and I' found the camouflage and markings attractive (decals are from Linden Hills)
Most color from MRP, except intrados and lower fuselage which are mix of Gunze.
