That's what I call a successful makeover. The light but very convincing weathering resulted in a very realistic appearance which fooled me on pic 1 - thinking that it was a puc of the real stuff.

Album info

Here's a model I built 20 years ago - it's suffered (languished?) on the shelf for years. What started as a quick dusting/cleaning turning into a "let's give it a new cab, fresh paint, graphics, etc". This is an AMT White-Freightliner SD and Trailmobile Tandem Vans in Consolidated Freightways dress. The trailer graphics are vinyl I had printed to replicate the later-year style CF logos. The cab logos and stripes are decals from the AMT White-Freightliner 75th Anniversary kit with a few home printed unit numbers added.
