They are tiny! 

 

Masking with some ammo magic putty  

 

I airbrushed the black and white stripe since it's exactly the width of Tamiya 3mm masking tape, and decals would probably mess it up. A good thing is that the decals gives you options to either use the decals or paint certain parts. Great thinking!

The yellow field are decals, in hindsight I should have masked and painted them since the decals where hard to get to conform to the edges. I sanded the edges and painted them before a more warm yellow oil was applied.  

 

Trying to get the wheels to dry without bending the tiny tip on the rear  

The spinners are decals, but I had to sand them down a bit since the edges wrinkles up and then brush paint the edges 

Just some minor metal chipping and then they're done
