Completed 1/13/2024. This is the Tamiya A6M2 Zero "Zeke" kit. These images are of the final day of the build and do not show any of the progress used to get to the final product. I believe I worked on this kit for 4 weeks over Christmas and New Years breaks.
This kit took me alot longer than some of my past builds but all in all I am happy with this build. I experienced some issues with the decals/microsol/clear coat bubbling up on me. I believe I had applied too much clear coat too soon before the underlying microsol had enough time to dry. Despite this being almost a whole day, I believe in the future I will need to wait much longer before applying clear. I used Mr. Hobby Matt Clear over Tamiya Acrylics.
