By 9 hours the turret and exterior details were added, though periscopes were omitted as I determined the best course for painting and assembly.

Mock up of electrical rig. The micro-LED would serve as illuminating the heat and friction impacted on the armor from the bounced round, while the LED filament would act as a tracer for the round as it ricochets off the armor.

Scuplting the impact site I realize the filament might be too big for what I initially planned and I may need to shift slightly.

After roughly 12 hours into the build, I've completed the front glacis plate and hull MG.

The mocked up turret. The cupola and turret floor/ring are not secured into place, as access will still be needed for wiring and placing of equipment.

I opted to paint the lenses of the periscopes on the sprue, as I am not confident they could be painted or masked adequately in any other state. I'm opting to paint and mask the lenses, building them out and mounting them, and removing the mask before weathering.

Inspired from my earlier times playing World of Tanks (before I switched to War Thunder) and constantly hearing that line, this project is an ambitious attempt at illustrating a round actively bouncing off the side turret of a panther tank.
