Pretty basic cockpit interior, but since you can barely see it once the fuselage halves are stuck together. The lead weight under the floor is a piece of wheel balancing weight. There's another piece on the other side.
Front wheel bay, with some pipes coloured with a fine pen and a bit of black wash to grime it up. The struts are not glued in yet so they can be kept out of the way while I glue the fuselage and sort out the joins.
I am building this for my neighbour, who was going to build it for his father. His father was in the New Zealand army artillery regiment that went to Vietnam in 1966. He flew out to Vietnam on Hercules NZ7003, but the decals supplied with the kit only have NZ7001 and NZ7005. Hopefully I can get some 3's in the correct size, font and colour to convert it. He flew back on NZ7001, so that is an option, but he really wants the one he flew out on.
