Hurricane Mk II B The first Hurricane in the Red Army Air Force

The Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIB Trop Z5252 aircraft, operated by Senior Lieutenant Pavel Ivanovich Markov (1918-1943), participated in a heavy air battle in which seven Hurricanes and twelve Messerschmitts converged.

As a result of injuries sustained in aerial combat, Pavel Ivanovich made an emergency landing on the ice of a lake near the village of Mishukovo in the Murmansk region.

The Hawker Hurricane was discovered only in 2001 and raised in the fall of 2004. After the restoration, he took a place in the exhibition.
