How did you don the shiny parts like bumpers and mirrors?

They come like that in the kit, plastic parts with a chrome like covering but you need to scrap off any covering where you need to glue e.g. number plate to front bumper. I also tried to dull down the front grill a little by painting with semi-gloss black to fill in the gaps and then gently rubbed over with paint thinner to reveal the front of the grill. Sort of got the effect I was looking for.

you can strip chrome pieces with thin bleach or the thick bleach
