Ah, finally more pictures! Thanks Es-haq!
Was the downed Iraqi aircraft an MiG-21?
4 July 2013, 07:59

Thank you mates!
@Holger: The captured Iraqi bird is a twin seat MiG-21 and the downed bird is a twin seat trainer-fighter Su-22U, eliminated sweep wing system. During the Iran-Iraq war 23 Su-22s were downed by Iranian Tomcats, and 18 by Iranian Phantoms.

I hope to visit Iran and Teheran one day! When I do, this museum is on my list of things to see and visit!

I have never seen a jeep with rocket artillery on the back, interesting stuff. A real shoot-and-scoot type of weapon.

Thanx for sharing this interesting photos! By the way, photo 25, a worn out fighter aircraft in front of a nice garden arrangement ? a strange opposite! All the ground around is the size of the museum? Seems to be a large museum.

Hi Es-Hag,
thabks for showing us this pictures!
The aircrafts of Iran have a really nice camo and also very worn, perfect for modelling!!!!
6 October 2013, 09:25

Your welcome mate! Glad you like them! @Christian, I agree with you, an strange apposite, but it's a really shuted down Iraqi Su-22, may be the only sample of this plane avaiable. And yes, it's a museum inside a garden.

Hehe Mike, a lot of military stuff but you took a main look to the garden😉
6 October 2013, 11:29

I agree Mike! Very nice designed garden it is! I hope to see all you there some day! 🙂

A great collection of military vehicles, very interesting! The setting is quite unusual, but very beautiful with those gardens.
