Thanks for the coments and is more easy than you think and of course i'm not an expert. Using salt the one that you use for food, and is easy first paint the metal color in this case i don't use it but it can be use various shades fo metal, then with the salt barely moisted start aplying in the areas where the green peel of. let it dry and aply green or other color. As you have to wet the model to remove the salt after, the used paint need to be enamel. the salt going to be a little persistant but with a hard brush you can remove it. Hope it works for you as it works for me! greetings!
